A classically-trained singer-songwriter, he was the fourth place finalist of the second season of the reality singing competition, "The Voice." He was mentored by Grammy winner Christina Aguilera.
On May 3, 2013, Mann performed at
The Landmark on Main Street, a venue in Port Washington, New York, to a well-received performance . "It has been great. I really enjoyed going to all the different cities in America. There were 60 in total. I loved being in Port Washington in the New York area. It's always a pleasure," he said.
Mann is expected to have his second PBS special, but this time it will have a Christmas theme to it and it will feature the same guests in his first special. These include saxophonist Mindi Abair and country superstar Martina McBride. "It's for the Christmas season, which I am really excited about. It will include my favorite Christmas songs, as well as a few songs that are not traditional Christmas songs but they are about family and being home. It is coming out soon," he said. "It's really a beautiful project that is accompanied by a live CD and DVD that are available right now."
He revealed that he sang "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" with McBride, which will be televised in his Christmas PSB special.
Regarding his future plans, he shared, "I have started writing my next record which will come out next year. I am excited where I am heading musically there. Everybody should stay tuned for new music."
He continued, "I am still on tour until the end of the year. I will be in Atlantic City this weekend. I enjoy meeting fans and doing a show live every night until the end of the year."
