Rising country songstress Elizabeth Lyons is expected to perform on The Billy Block Show in Nashville, Tennessee, on December 3.
The Billy Block Show is second only to The Grand Ole Opry and Midnight Jamboree as Nashville’s longest running live radio show and concert series.
Her eponymous debut EP was released on November 11, 2012, for which she co-wrote all six songs. It went on to chart at No. 42 on the iTunes Country Album chart in less than 24 hours; moreover, on December 6, 2012, her EP debuted at No. 10 on Billboard's Heatseekers East North Central chart.
She has been touring extensively this past summer, travelling over 9,500 miles to 12 different states, as well as over 50 radio stations to promote her single and music video for "Everything Tonight," which she co-wrote with her producer, Matt Nolen, as well as Grammy-nominated songwriter Ryan Tyndell.
Most recently, the single reached No. 96 on the Music Row chart, and its music video, which was directed by Mason Dixon (who filmed Jake Owen's "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" and "The One That Got Away") went to No. 8 on the iTunes Top Country Music Videos charts.
To date, Lyons has sold over 75,000 downloads of her music on iTunes, which is quite an accomplishment for an independent artist.
