Who doesn't know Miss Piggy? The adorable, lovable, fluffy Muppet. And who doesn't know that pigs love to waddle in mud?
But unbeknownst to most, pigs are quite the little swimmers and some have found their own little paradise. Not in the mud, but rather in the crystal blue, warm waters of the Caribbean.
Yep. That's right! Those smelly animals which give us the delectable meat bacon, have claimed a tiny island for their own in the archipelago Exuma in the Bahamas.
Rumor has it passing sailors dropped the pigs off on the island with plans to return and eat them. But the sailors never returned leaving the porkers stranded and foraging to survive.
Jennifer R. Nolan has written a children's book titled The Secret of Pig Island, a story about a pig named Plato that lives on Pig Island and delivers a heart-warming message for young and old.
Pig island is also called Pig Beach; the island's official name is Major Big Cay.
It's a island where you'll find the inhabitants are not obsessed with their weight. They eat like pigs and swim and lie on the beach, all in the nude, uninhibited!
The paparazzi caught up with Miss Piggy there last week sunbathing au natural. Kermit found the photos on the internet and now Miss Piggy is suing for an undisclosed amount. Court insiders report Miss Piggy hopes to break the paparazzi's piggy banks!
Note: This article is fact based, that is, up to the point about the paparazzi catching Miss Piggy sunbathing in the nude.
