British Prime Minister David Cameron held a phone conversation with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani today, the first of it's kind in over 10 years between both nations.
According to a Downing Street spokesman, the two leaders discussed improving the bilateral relations between both nations.
Iran's nuclear program was also a point of discussion, with both leaders agreeing that major progress has been made with negotiations, and that a deal should be reached to take advantage of the positive negotiations.
Negotiations over Iran's nuclear program is set to continue on Wednesday, with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif calling it a "historic opportunity" to reach a deal on Iran's nuclear program.
