Review: 'Beach Bum'-DLC adds to the 'GTA V' online experience Special

By Stan Rezaee     Nov 19, 2013 in Entertainment
Rockstar Games have released the first DLC for 'Grand Theft Auto V' as a free download that comes alongside the 1.06v update.
PlayStation 3 gamers will receive the DLC automatically when they install the 1.06v update while Xbox 360 gamers will have to update the game first then download the DLC from Xbox Live.
Beach Bum-DLC adds new content for the online multiplayer game that includes a series of new jobs and mini-games that are set in the Vespucci Beach area of Los Santos. The DLC will also include several new weapons, a verity of new vehicles, along with outfits and character customization that are based on the beach theme.
The DLC adds more to a game that already has a lot of gameplay content that will keep players entertained for a long time.
Another unique feature about the DLC is that it offers a lot of content for free while other game developers charge $.99 - $2.00 for a DLC that offers less. If this is Rockstar Games idea of a free DLC, then obviously the ones that need to be purchased will be worth it.
Gamers hate paying for trivial DLC's; hence Rockstar has decided not to try milk every nickel and dime from its loyal fans. Gamers will appreciate the new content added even if they are too distracted by other aspects of Grand Theft Auto: Online.
Final Score: 5/5
