New York - Toronto Mayor, Rob Ford, replaces Jean Claude Van Damme and executes his epic leg split in a visual effects parody on Volvo Trucks' viral video commercial.
In combining the hit videos of the week - both reported on Digital Journal, one of the popular new Volvo Truck commercial starring Jean Claude Van Damme performing his epic splits and the other of Toronto's troubled mayor Rob Ford, Artjail have made 'Vanford.' In a parody of Van Damme's orchestrated choreographic feat, the visual effects team at the New York based VFX studio have digitally replaced "The Muscles from Brussels" with the Toronto Mayor.
Artjail are quoted as saying on Fstoppers:
“We were completely in awe of the Volvo Van Damme Epic Splits spot. And remain completely in awe of Mayor Ford’s Epic lifestyle north of the border. Behold #VANFORD. We used Autodesk Flame to comp RF. 12 hours from idea to completion!”
