With another successful tourist season just completed in Croatia, a stunning photography exhibition opens in the heart of Europe.
A photography exhibition organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to celebrate Croatia's entry into Europe has reached Brussels, as an exhibition of the stunning images of the EU's newest member taken by Romulic and Stojcic reached the heart of Europe on November 18, 2013.

The exhibition, which will run at the Council of Europe in Brussels until December 2, is an impressive visual introduction to the diversity of a country which is perhaps best stereotyped for its sea, sun and beaches, following the successful branding of Croatian tourism as 'The Mediterranean as It Once Was' by the national tourist board after the recent regional conflict.

In addition to highligthing the better known tourist hotspots such as Dubrovnik and the island of Hvar, the Romulic and Stojcic collection shows off the beauty and diversity of the country's less glamorous and lesser known regions.

The exhibition is a continuation of the work of the duo from the northern city of Osijek, whose work is perhaps the best example of the portrayal of the diverse nature of Croatia in its entirety. As previously reported on Digital Journal, the pair's 'Timelapse Croatia' was acclaimed by some in the national press as the finest promotion of tourism in Croatia ever - see video below.
Their increasing popularity in Croatia has led to more commercial contracts, and Romulic was the subject of an entertaining commercial for a leading telecoms provider recently, as he explained how he managed to get such a close up shot of an aggressive bear (see video below).
