Orlando - George Zimmerman, killer of teen Trayvon Martin, is in jail again.
For the second time he was accused of threatening a girlfriend with a gun.
Although the charge was dropped in the first case, on Monday, Zimmerman was arrested by Seminole County deputies on felony assault charges at a home near Orlando.
The Orlando Sentinel said after an argument with the woman, he broke a table, pointed a shotgun at her and pushed her out of the home.
The New York Times said Zimmerman is being held without bail on aggravated assault with a weapon charges, domestic violence battery and criminal mischief.
The woman was identified as 27-year-old Samantha Scheibe.
Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma said Zimmerman offered no resistance. No injuries were reported by Scheibe.
According to an arrest report released late Monday, Scheibe called police after she and Zimmerman got into a "verbal dispute" at her home on Topfield Court in western Seminole County.
"She was concerned for her safety, certainly from having the weapon pointed at her," Lemma said.
An arrest report said after they argued, Scheibe told Zimmerman to leave. He “began packing his items, which included a shotgun and AR assault rifle.
He pointed a shotgun at her when she said she was calling the police.
The sheriff’s office said if Zimmerman is released they would like a monitoring device placed on him.
He has had several confrontations with police since he was acquitted in July of murdering 17-year-old Martin last year.
Since then, Zimmerman has had a string of run-ins with law enforcement in at least two states.
