article imageQualcomm's Toq smartwatch will be on sale December 2nd for $350

Qualcomm usually isn't the company you think of when you think consumer electronics. From working behind the scenes and making processors for consumer electronics, they are changing up their operations a bit with their latest announcement.
Apparently, Qualcomm decided to enter the consumer electronics market, especially racing to get their smartwatch out on the market. The Qualcomm Toq is a $349.99 smartwatch that will be available on December the 2nd.
The Toq features Qualcomm's Mirasol display technology, which is an always on, always visible reflective display that uses ambient light to provide a crisp and clear viewing experience even under direct sunlight.
The WiPower LE technology allows for a convenient "drop and go" wireless charging experience. This gets topped with a wireless stereo Bluetooth headset that sits confortably outside the ear canal.
Qualcomm states the Toq will come out as a limited edition run for now. There will be no buttons on the smartwatch — it will be a full touch screen navigation. Furthermore, Qualcomm claims it can run up to five days on a single charge.
