By Markos Papadatos     Nov 9, 2013 in Entertainment
Rising country-rock artist Dallas Smith released his newest radio single "Tippin' Point," which will be on his forthcoming studio album.
The single was produced by Joey Moi who has worked with such noteworthy country artists as Florida Georgia Line and Jake Owen. It was co-penned by Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard (from the duo Florida Georgia Line), as well as Jared Johnston.
It is infectious tune and it has a feel-good vibe to it. Fans can easily sing along to this song as it is played on their car's radio stations or CD players, and it is certain to be a crowd pleaser when Smith performs it live in concert.
Smith's vocals are reminiscent of those of Florida Georgia Line, as well as Kenny Chesney and even Joe Nichols in a few spots, which should be taken as a compliment.
The Verdict
Overall, Dallas Smith's "Tippin' Point" garners 4 out of 5 stars. It deserves more than just a passing glance and fans ought to download it on iTunes. One thing's for sure. If this country singer from British Colombia keeps this pace up, he is certainly going places.
