Veteran Nashville publicist Martha Moore is one of country music's best-loved publicists. She is celebrating her 25th year as the president of her own independent PR boutique firm, so much MOORE media.
Her public relations firm first opened its doors in November of 1988. Ms. Moore has been in the music industry for well over thirty years and she has worked and represented some of the genre's greatest legends including the late Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Brenda Lee, Merle Haggard, Barbara Mandrell, the late Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, George Strait, Kathy Mattea, Lee Greenwood, David Frizzell, Don Williams, among countless others.
She was also worked with several esteemed artists in the rock scene including Tom Jones, John Mellencamp, Kiss, Tears for Fears, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Joe Cocker and others.
On having her own PR firm for 25 years, Moore noted that it is an "amazing" feeling. "I enjoy the challenge and the rewards. Each day is different, never boring," Moore said.
In recent years, she has repped Hank Cochran, Ricky Skaggs, The Grascals, Randy Thompson and she is currently engaged in strategic partnerships with powerhouse public relations firm, Webster PR and Associates (which is headed by Mr. Kirt Webster), as well as the independent record label, Way Out West Records. Her current roster includes APA-Nashville, bluegrass duo The Roys, LiveWire, Long Island country songstress Lisa Matassa, Jay Jolley, New York country singer Joanna Mosca, Sherry Lynn, Lizzie Sider, as well as Mike Aiken.
Moore moved to Nashville in 1976, where she took a position at WLAC Radio (AM Promotion/FM Traffic). She worked at MCA/ABC Records as the label's Manager of Press and Artist Development for just over four years before moving to PolyGram Records. While at Polygram, Moore was the Director of Press and Artist Relations/Nashville for nearly eight years.

While she has had many proud moments in her professions, she is most fond of "watching new artists move up to the next level."
Having had the pleasure to work with Ms. Moore myself many times over the last few years, I am sure there will be many more years to go for her and so much MOORE media, since she really stands out as one of the nation's best publicists. Her enthusiasm and zest for the profession is infectious.
