A new trailer for "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle" skims over the first three chapters of the game based off the ongoing manga of the same name.
Namco Bandai has released the newest trailer for “JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle” which is already available for the Playstation 3 consoles across Japan. This trailer gives a showcase of the game's first three chapters which is adapted from the ongoing manga series of the same name.
These three chapters are: “Phantom Blood,” “Battle Tendency,” and “Stardust Crusaders” with the third chapter setting up the plot device of Stands for the rest of the manga. This game is developed by CyberConnect2 (known for the “.hack//” game series) and published by Namco Bandai. North America will receive this game for the Playstation 3 sometime in 2014.
In Phantom Blood, which takes place in Victorian England, the bitter feud between protagonist Johnathan Joestar and antagonist & foster brother Dio Brando is the driving force. This is the setting point in which the Joestar family is pulled into a fate full of violence and combat. It has Johnathan utilizing a special type of energy called Hamon in order to fight the legions of vampires created by Dio.
In Battle Tendency, which starts off in New York City during World War II, Joseph Joestar (the grandson of Johnathan) travels across the world in which he encounters Nazis, vampires, and the terrifying Pillar Men.
In Stardust Crusaders, which starts off in Japan during the 1980s, Jotaro Kujo (the grandson of Joseph) along with Joseph and a group of friends travel to Cairo to stop the resurrected Dio. This one introduces the dynamic of Stands. This resurrects the family's battle against the villainous Dio Brando.
If you are a fan of JoJo's Bizzare Adventure, you may want to get this game when it hits North America. Gamasutra reports that Europe and Australia will also receive the game come 2014 as well.
