Fuengirola - A 31-year-old Moroccan national, named only as Tareq, died on Thursday afternoon after being shot in the head in a possible "settling of scores."
The shooting occurred in the middle of the street, near the health center in calle Jábega, Fuengirola, a few minutes after 16h00 local time.
La Opinión de Málaga reports (in Spanish) that the emergency services telephone number 091 received a call advising them of the shooting.
Unconfirmed witness reports are saying that the shooter ran away towards the Aqua Park in Mijas.
Europress (Spanish language) reports that officers in the Specialist Violent Crime Unit (UDEV) are investigating the incident but so far no arrests have been made, according to sources in the Málaga police station.
