Country singer Cole Swindell released his newest radio single "Chillin' It" via his record label, Warner Music Nashville.
"Chillin' It" was co-written by Swindell and Shane Minor. It was produced by Jody Stevens.
It sits at No. 23 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, for the week ending November 2.
It is an uplifting and laid-back tune and it is melodically stunning. I first heard it on the New York country station, Nash FM 94.7, and have been hooked ever since. Swindell's vocals are refreshing and reminiscent to those of Tyler Hubbard from the hit country duo Florida Georgia Line, as well as Luke Bryan (where the listener can recall "Drunk On You").
Cole Swindell is another prime artist on the Warner Music Nashville roster. This year that label released stellar debut albums by such country artists as Brett Eldredge and Charlie Worsham, and Cole Swindell proves to be just as noteworthy with "Chillin' It." It garners 4.5 out of 5 stars. If this is new single is any indication of what is yet to come from Swindell, then the modern country scene will be in for a real treat.
