Phoenix - On Saturday morning police in Phoenix, Arizona arrived at a condominium and discovered a horrific scene, five people dead, as well as two dogs.
All of the victims died of gunshot wounds, according to CNN. One of the dead was the apparent shooter.
Sgt. Tommy Thompson, of the Phoenix Police Department, said that officers were called to the complex after a resident called to report that someone was firing shots at his home.
According to LA Times, when police arrived at the scene they narrowed down the townhouse where the gunman was likely hiding in. The dead bodies of the people and the dogs were discovered upon entering the home.
According to Reuters, the victims were two men, a woman and a teenage boy. Police believe that all of them were related. Police then discovered who they believe to be the shooter, a man in his 50s.
So far police do not know what the motive may have been, but the investigation is continuing.
