On Oct. 24, the annual ICM Faith, Family and Country Awards took place at The Fellowship at Two Rivers in Nashville, Tennessee.
It honored artists, songwriters, radio personalities and other professionals in the Christian and inspirational country genres.
Martina McBride was honored as the "Mainstream Female Country Artist." She is best-known for such inspirational hit songs as "I'm Gonna Love You Through It" as well as "Independence Day," "Love's the Only House," "God's Will," "Broken Wing" and "Concrete Angel."
Former American Idol winner and country singer Scotty McCreery was crowned "Mainstream Male Country Artist," according to Country Weekly Magazine.
Country trio Rascal Flatts earned two awards in such categories as "Mainstream Inspirational Country Song" and "Mainstream Inspirational Country Video" for their song "Changed."
In the bluegrass category, The Roys were named "Inspirational Bluegrass Artist" for the third consecutive time in their career.
