Copenhagen - The Danish duo 'Robotboys,' who won 'Denmark’s Got Talent' in 2008 have since danced their way to fame. This original dance team have got more than 80 million hits on YouTube, toured the world and are in massive demand on the European popping scene.
Nick Nitro and Jeppe Long, (Nick M. Johnsen and Jeppe Thybo), form the globally popular Robotboys — a dance duo from Denmark, Europe. They produce and perform a diverse selection of dance acts and themes that include a unique blend of popping, mime, clear storyline and self-made music.
Nick and Jeppe met in 2004. Working together in combination with various other dancers in groups, these young guys discovered they had a dance-style vision in common.

Nick and Jeppe both loved the idea of combining old classic mime techniques and commedia del arte with impressions from movies, video games, cartoons and other techniques together with computer-enhanced effects. They also owned physical similarities to the comedians Laurel & Hardy, features that turned out to be an advantage for their dance acts.

Gaining experience by being part of theatre shows, Nick and Jeppe started to develop their own style. In 2008, they decided to enter the first season of Denmark’s Got Talent.
When the Got Talent live shows aired, their 'The Symphony of the Robot Police' was an immediate hit and became one of their most popular shows ever. From this success, Robotdrengene (Robotboys) was formed using a name chosen by chance from a passing comment made by a tv-host. A few weeks later, Robotboys were declared winners of the Got Talent 2008-competition with the 'Angel-Devil' show.

Since then, Robotboys have toured the world and really "got their act together." Eventually, Nick and Jeppe realised, after their millions-of-hits dance-videos on Youtube were being copied and removed at will, that it would be a good idea to take control and get organised. The duo decided to open their own YouTube channel and build a website.
