Chicago - A female employee of McDonald's was removed from a meeting and arrested for asking its President Jeff Stratton a few questions regarding fair wages during his keynote talk "Fries with That?"
As the president of McDonald's President Mr. Jeff Stratton was beginning his talk, Nancy Salgado, 26, a single mother of two young children who has worked for McDonald's for ten years said, "Excuse the interruption ... I'm a Catholic woman and a single mother of two. It's really hard for me to feed my two kids and struggle day to day. Do you really think it's fair that I am making $8.25 while I've worked for McDonald's for 10 years? Do you think it's fair?"
McDonald's President Jeff Stratton replied, "I've been there for 40 years."
The inquisitr reports that Salgado and six others, members of Fight For $15, were removed from the meeting despite being legitimate attendees of the event.
According to fightfor15, all seven were arrested and charged with criminal trespass and are faced with a November 1 court date. One report says she went to jail.
On therealnews report seen in the video, Salgado said that although she still has her job, her hours have been cut and she feels that McDonald's will do something against her.
