American Idol runner-up winner Adam Lambert will make a guest appearance in the fifth season of "Glee" for an episode entitled "A Katy or a Gaga."
The Grammy-nominated pop singer will make his "Glee" debut on November 7, which is the first "Glee" episode after a three-week break. (In their previous episode, entitled "The Quarterback," the cast paid tribute to the late Cory Monteith, who starred in the show along with his real-life girlfriend Lea Michele).
The cast will be singing songs from such acclaimed female pop superstars as Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.
In the promo video clip, Lambert is seen wearing a campy outfit that is reminiscent of a typical Boy George costume, and he is singing the chorus of Lady Gaga's "Marry The Night."
As previously reported by Digital Journal, actor Chris Colfer (who plays Kurt Hummel on the show) revealed in his interview on "Live with Kelly and Michael" that Lambert's role is expected to be a villainous one, since he will be playing his character's nemesis.
Judging from the trailer alone, this is bound to be one interesting episode and the fact that Adam Lambert is making an appearance, elevates it to a higher level. It will certainly make his dedicated fans happy, which are affectionately known as "Glamberts."
