The good news for country singer and songwriter Hunter Hayes keeps on coming. He was named one of CMT's "Artist of the Year."
Hayes joins an elite group of country men for this prestigious honor, which include Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, as well as Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley from the duo Florida Georgia Line. These artists will be honored in a 90-minute special that will air on December 3 on CMT (Country Music Television).
As of October 20, with over 1,045,500 likes, he surpassed one million fans on his official Facebook page.
The Atlantic Nashville recording artist is also nominated for an American Music Award (AMA) for "Favorite Country Male Artist" along with fellow label-mate Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan.
Hayes is out on the road touring the country, as part of his headlining "Let's Be Crazy" tour, which features country songstress Ashley Monroe as an opening act on select dates.
