Nashville - The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's Taylor Swift Education Center officially opened its doors on Oct. 12 according to CMT.
The CMA and Grammy award-winning country pop superstar told CMT that when she discovered writing her own songs and playing guitar her life changed completely.
Swift said “That can't necessarily all be taught to you in school because there aren't enough hours in the day ... enough funding to teach every kid how to play an instrument.”
The top selling digital artist of all time, known for her generation contributions of time and money to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Center, donated $4 million to the museum to build the 7,500-square-foot education center.
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum said that Swift’s donation is the largest in the museum’s 46 year history.
