Model, actor and singer Keith Webb is one of the eight men that will be featured on Jeff Timmons (from 98 Degrees) and Glenn Douglas Packard's newest male musical revue "Men of the Strip."
On the "Men of The Strip" experience, Webb remarked, "It's a pleasure and I cannot believe it. There are no words to describe how happy I am. It is still kind of surreal since everything is moving so quickly. We are on the third day of rehearsal and Glenn Packard is choreographing it and he is working us hard."
He added, "I am so beat up by the end of the day, but it's a great feeling of accomplishment. We still have a lot of work to do."
Webb noted that all eight guys that are featured on "Men of the Strip" are extremely different and they all have stories to tell. "We come from all over the country so I am very excited," he stated. "I feel that we all have personalities and the owner, Mike, as well as Jeff and Glenn really want to showcase that."
"I grew up in a Christian home, so I would listen to Christian music," he revealed. "We listened to Sandi Patty in the car all the way to church, all the time."
He is excited to be afforded the privilege to perform alongside Jeff Timmons on their upcoming tour. "That blows my band. When I am at home, I love to sing. I used to watch all of these boy bands when I was 12 on MTV and I always wanted to be a part of that boy band crave, but I just was born 10 years too late. The fact that I get to work with Jeff is like fulfilling that boy band dream of mine," he said.
Webb was recently involved with a promotion for Sealed With a Kiss (S.W.A.K.) Designs and Plus Model Magazine. "I just got done doing that. I flew out to Los Angeles and I did a jean ad for these girls and I was the model in the background. It was the first time that they had a male model with a plus size model. It was something new to the plus size community. It has been great and it was a pleasure and an honor to do," he said.
He revealed that he had a pole-dancing background and he played a pole-dancer on "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit," which resulted in him meeting Ice-T. "I am a fan of Ice-T and he was in the scene that we were shooting. I got a chance to say a quick hello to him," he said.
On December 17, he will be performing at Gramercy Theatre in New York, along with Jeff Timmons and the rest of the "Men of The Strip" cast. "I am excited about that, which is good. I did a big Facebook invite for my friends to come to that show. New York is big," he said. "The Gramercy is a nice theater."
