Eight years after its release, Kanye West's song "Gone" (featuring Cam'Ron and Consequence) has hit the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 18.
"Gone" is also No. 6 on the R&B/Hip song chart and No. 4 on the rap songs chart, HipHopDX reports.
The song gained popularity recently when Marina Shifrin, a writer and comedian quit her job as a video editor by creating a video in which she dances around a deserted office to "Gone," Billboard reports.
Shifrin explained her actions in an article she wrote for the Huff Post. "I wanted to leave in a way that would make my parents laugh and do justice to my position as viral video editor. I came up with this video. I woke up the next day and found out a few people, 11 million and counting, had viewed it."
The video now has more than 15 million views.
