Chihuahua - At least six people have been killed and around 40 were injured when a monster truck went out of control at the recent "Extremo Aeroshow" in Chihuahua, Mexico.
El Diario de Chihuahua (in Spanish) reports that the monster truck was performing when it went out of control and ran over the spectators. Among the six dead was one minor, and the 40 people were apparently seriously injured.
While the majority of the Mexican media is reporting six dead and 40 injured, the local paper, La OpciĆ³n de Chihuahua, reports in Spanish that there were 13 dead and over 120 injured. Reportedly the accident immediately killed nine, plus one person who died in the ambulance and three in the Cima hospital.
The newspaper continues that all events ended after the accident.
Several Red Cross ambulances as well as the fire brigade and municipal police along with a helicopter transported the injured to hospital.
