Country music sensation Martina McBride is expected to join country superstar George Strait on the final leg of his "The Cowboy Runs Away" arena tour.
She will perform with him on February 28, 2014 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as well as on March 1, 2014, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
While she was out on tour with "King George," McBride sang two duets with the living country music legend, which included Johnny Cash and June Carter's "Jackson," as well as the George Jones and Tammy Wynette classic "Golden Ring."
Throughout her career in country, which spans over two decades, McBride is one of the best-loved vocalists. She was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 1995 and she has been crowned "Top Female Vocalist of the Year" by the Academy of Country Music (ACM), and she holds the record for most "Female Vocalist of the Year" wins by the Country Music Association (CMA), with four, along with Reba McEntire.
Five of her songs have topped the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, which include "Broken Wing," "Blessed," "I Love You," "Wild Angels," as well as "Wrong Again."
McBride has a community service organization, which is affectionately known as "Team Martina," which is dedicated to making the world a better place through volunteerism and the healing power of music. They work towards raising money towards breast cancer awareness.
