Stamford - A girl in Stamford, Connecticut told her parents that she was being bullied and she was having suicidal thoughts. The parents went to the police, who then arrested the 12-year-old bully.
According to ParentDish, the 13-year-old victim and the 12-year-old were not identified, nor was the private middle school.
According to WTNH, Lt. Diedrich Hohn of the Stamford Police Department, said that they were contacted by the parents of the 12-year-old and were told that their daughter was always being harassed and intimidated at school.
Police then arrested the 12-year-old for disorderly conduct. Investigators said that the victim was harassed, taunted and pushed, and that she could not learn in such an environment.
According to Daily Voice, police say that school officials were notified about the bullying, but it continued and escalated.
The girl was released back to her parents, and police and school officials think that the arrest may help the situation.
