Rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars is made up of lead singer Jared Leto, his older brother and drummer Shannon Leto, as well as lead guitarist Tomo Milicevic.
Thirty Seconds to Mars commenced their first United States tour in support of their album "Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams" on September 27, in Atlanta, Georgia.
The video for their album's lead-off single "Up in the Air" was honored with the MTV Video Music Award (VMA) for "Best Rock Video" this past August. This marks the band’s third career MTV VMA win.
They were also up for "Best Art Direction" and "Best Cinematography" for the same video. It has garnered well over 12 million views to date and it was directed by Bartholomew Cubbins.
On October 12, the group is expected to play a special homecoming show at the Hollywood Bowl in the City of Angels.
