Loughborough - An EDL member who cannot be named for legal reasons, is currently standing trial, being accused of planning an attack on his former school.
According to evidence put forward by the prosecution, the 17-year-old, who was 16 at the time of planning the attacks, also wanted to "take some Muslims down" in the attack according to private messages he had sent over Facebook.
As well as planning to strike his former school, the teenager had made a list of other potential targets, including a mosque, a cinema, and council offices.
Police had first arrested the defendant for possessing a machete, after which police began to search his home finding a stockpile of homemade petrol bombs.
Members of the prosecution also put forward the defendant's notebook in which he wrote down many of his beliefs, which included calling for a European and British uprising to fight what he called Islamic fascism, as well as deporting Muslims.
The defendant has denied all charges of planning to carry out an act of terrorism.
