Country singer Chelsea Bain opened up about her latest radio single "James Dean," which is making its way up the Nashville Music Row charts.
"We finally got that online and the single is doing great. It's been going up the charts," she said. "It's pretty exciting that it has gone up each week."
Bain revealed that her brother served as the director of the song's music video. "It was a blast shooting that video. It was one of the funnest days ever," she admitted.
She has brand affiliations and performances with Coca-Cola, as well as Bass Pro Shops; moreover, she has over 114,000 fans on Facebook, as well as over 6,000 Twitter followers.
Throughout her career, she has opened for such country artists as Tim McGraw, Lonestar, Sawyer Brown, Jerrod Niemann, Brett Eldredge, Justin Moore, among others. "It was
fantastic to play shows with big artists like that at the level that I am at. I feel lucky," she said with a sweet laugh. "It's an honor when these situations come up."
Bain has been profiled on two magazine covers, which include "Elevate" and she featured in the issue online issue of Ditlo's official website.
The Official NASCAR Members Club has agreed to feature Chelsea every week this season, thus helping to sell her new music, and it will offer downloads from her new CD.
Her music has already been licensed for Fox One Entertainment (NASCAR RaceDay, NASCAR Trackside, & NASCAR Race Hub), as well as FSN (Regional NHL Stanley Cup Play-Off Games in eight markets), among others. "It's amazing and really cool especially when people tweet me about those moments," she said. "It's a sigh of relief."
Future "Hall of Famer" and three-time NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart has tweeted about Bain and 2012 NHRA Champion Antron Brown tweets about her on a regular basis. "We have been friends with Tony for years so it feels like we are surrounded by family," she said. "NASCAR is full of loud craziness and that's the same way our show is," she added with a laugh.
Bain listed Brantley Gilbert, Jason Aldean and Brett Eldredge as her dream male duet partners in country music. "Brantley is awesome and he has that edgy sound," she said.
"Brett Eldredge has an amazing voice and I have met him several times and hung out with him a little bit. He is the nicest guy and a duet with him would be fantastic," she said.
Bain concluded, "My goal is for my shows to get bigger and to play for bigger crowds. I would like to do more all the time."
She listed Shania Twain, Pink and Bob Dylan as her musical influences.
