The militant Somali group al-Shabab, has warned that it will carry out further strikes against Kenya in a statement released on Wednesday.
The militant group was recently responsible for a deadly attack on the Westgate shopping mall, leaving dozens dead, and several wounded.
In their recently released statement, they vowed to carry out more attacks:
We will strike Kenyans where it hurts the most, turn their cities into graveyards and rivers of blood will flow in Nairobi
The group has cited Kenya's continued military presence in Somalia as the reasoning behind their attacks.
