In a video promoting "NBA2K14," NBA legend Michael Jordan gives Ahmad Rashad a list of players he wishes he could've have played against. The list includes (in no order) Dwyane Wade, Jerry West, Julius Erving, Elgin Baylor, and of course, LeBron James.
Jordan said he believes he could have beaten them all, For The Win reports.
“I don’t think I would lose,” Jordan said, “other than to Kobe Bryant because he steals all of my moves.”
When LeBron heard about Jordan's comments, he said, "MJ said that? I've thought about the matchup, but no one will ever see it and it's not going to happen," James said Tuesday after the Miami Heat's training camp practice in Nassau, Bahamas. "It's good for people to talk about," ESPN reports.
Kobe also responded to Jordan's comments about stealing his moves. "Domino effect. I stole some of his..this generation stole some of mine #thecycle."
LA Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni, also commented. "Obviously he's one of the great, if not the greatest players," he said. "It would be great to watch them play, that's for sure, but I have no clue (who would win-between MJ and LeBron)."
In the video, when Jordan is asked who's the better player between Kobe and Lebron, he answers, "Kevin Durant," For The Win reports.
He then praises Kobe for his "championships and determination" and LeBron for his "skills."
Jordan also said that the game is much less "physical" today than it was back then, ESPN reports. "You go in with the understanding of, 'I'm going to get hit. I'm going to pay the price,'" he said. "But that's part of the game. I'm not going to be afraid to go inside. Those are the types of things that these kids don't even have a clue of how we had to grow up and how we had to play."
LeBron is on the cover of NBA2K14. According to Ball Over All, there has been a lot of talk lately about whether or not LeBron can surpass Jordan as the "greatest ever?"
So, who would win? Lebron or Jordan? Jordan or Kobe?
