Hip Hop mogul P. Diddy is less than 3 weeks away from debuting his 24-hour multi-genre music network, Revolt TV, which will air on Comcast and Time Warner.
According to AllHipHop, the channel is already calling itself "the new #1 name in music." Its objective is to provide a continual stream of music videos, interviews,"original programming," performances, and news about all kinds of music genres.
Diddy says the channel will offer every type of music; "The best of rock, the best of EDM, the best of hip-hop -- the future of music," the Huff Post reports. "We may play some country if its funky enough." Diddy can be heard talking about the type of music Revolt TV will play in the featured video posted in this article.
Fuse Music is probably Revolt TV's only true competitor right now as MTV and Vh1 have both moved away from music videos and programming in favor of reality shows and comedy.
Revolt TV has a countdown on its website ticking away until the official launch, which takes place October 21.
