article imageSchool calls family and complains about dead son skipping class

By Owen Weldon     Oct 1, 2013 in World
Jonas Pierre of Brooklyn, N.Y., had to relive a devastating moment when his son's school started to call him and ask about his "terrible" attendance record.
According to SF Gate, the calls opened up a fresh wound, as Jean Fritz Pierre, 16, ended up drowning last June while he was on a school trip to Bear Mountain State Park, where and his friend went swimming in "Bloody Lake."
According to ABC, Pierre said that he was just thinking to himself why would the school be calling him and telling him all this stuff.
According to New York Daily, investigators launched a probe into the death, but this week they cleared school staffers, but Pierre blames the school.
Officials with the education department said that Pierre will no longer receive any more phone calls.
