Google Street View technology has gone off the main drag and has headed into various famous zoos and animal parks worldwide. These days, you can sit at home and visit the animals at your leisure.
Google Maps has unveiled navigable images of quite a few zoos and animal parks all over the world, using their new Zoos and Animal Parks Street View technology.
In Spain, for instance, you can visit two of the country's largest and most popular zoos.
Visit Zoo Aquarium de Madrid and stroll the leafy pleasant pathways:

In Barcelona, you can visit the Parc Zoologic de Barcelona and see the flamingos:

But besides Spain there is an amazing array of venues to choose from worldwide on the Zoos and Animals Parks Street View page.
For instance, you can visit the Giant Pandas at Chengdu Research base in China:

Other venues featured include Chapultepec Zoo in Mexico City, Zoológico de Zacango also in Mexico, Zoologico de Americana in Brazil, Toronto Zoo, San Francisco Zoo and many more.
While not quite like the real thing, the feature is a lot of fun — perfect for that rainy day when you are stuck indoors.
