article imageReview: Country singer Tyler Farr soars on 'Redneck Crazy' CD Special

By Markos Papadatos     Sep 28, 2013 in Entertainment
Country singer Tyler Farr is expected to release his debut studio album 'Redneck Crazy' on September 30, via his record label, Columbia Nashville.
It opens with "Dirty" and it is followed by the country-rock tune "Makes You Wanna Drink" and the soaring "Whiskey In My Water."
Redneck Crazy, his latest radio single and title cut, is a stellar tune, where he showcases a lot of angst, and many male fans can easily relate to its message.
His previous singles "Hot Mess" and "Hello Goodbye," both of which made the Top 50 on the country charts, were equally superb tracks and it is a pity that country radio did not embrace them better.
Two of my personal favorites on this CD include "Ain't Even Drinkin'" and "Cowgirl," the latter of which would make a solid choice for a future single.
"Chicks, Trucks, and Beer" is yet another fun song on the record, where he collaborates with acclaimed country rapper Colt Ford.
It closes with the haunting acoustic ballad "Living With the Blues."
The Verdict
Overall, there is a lot of variety on Tyler Farr's debut studio album. He showcases many sides of his artistry to his audience and it is highly relatable. It garners 4 out of 5 stars. With his latest Redneck Crazy CD, Farr proves to be one of country music's finest newcomers.
