Op-Ed: Rapist walks free, non-violent offenders still in prison

By Alex Allen     Sep 27, 2013 in Politics
A convicted rapist has been put back on the streets while numerous non-violent offenders are imprisoned every day across the nation.
A former high school teacher was recently released, having served an astonishingly small sentence of only thirty days after raping a fourteen-year-old. Meanwhile, political activist Adam Kokesh is still in prison and has been for more than 90 days for simply loading a shotgun in Washington, D.C., Bradley Manning is being held in prison for leaking secrets to the American people, and hundreds of pot smokers are thrown in prison every day. God bless America and the fine justice system we have.
