article imageProfessor charged after filming up his students' skirts

A University of Florida professor of veterinary science is under arrest after he was accused of secretly filming video down the blouses, as well as up the skirts of his female students.
According to Raw Story, the professor, Don Samuelson, was charged on Friday with "video voyeurism," which is a Florida law that makes secretly filming people for the amusement, sexual arousal, entertainment or profit of oneself or another illegal.
According to the Daily Mail, Samuelson claimed that the only reason he filmed the women was to prove that they were not wearing underwear, and that is inappropriate, according to him.
Cops say that in June, Samuelson had a pen that doubled as a camera, and he used that to videotape down a student's shirt. He is accused of filming another student back in August, but that time he allegedly videotaped up her dress. The victim noticed what he was doing and she alerted campus police.
According to Opposing Views, police confiscated videos of women who were working in his lab, or who were meeting with him in his office. They say that Samuelson's face and voice can be heard in some of the clips.
Samuelson, who has been a teacher for more than 35 years, has now been placed on leave, and University officials indicate that he may be terminated.
