There was a launch in New York City of the iPhone 5S. People slept on the streets for hours, waiting in line, for the new technology.
The person who made the video admits that he also waited in line for 10 hours for the very first iPhone. He even waited in line, outside the mall, in 1999 for the Sega Dreamcast.
YouTube user caseyneistat probably had a severe case of "deja vu" seeing these people queueing up for the new iPhone and he even interviewed some of them.
He says he found a lot of excitement and enthusiasm, but he also found a lot of tired anxious people who were waiting in line for reasons other than their own desire for a product.
It seems some of them were getting paid to be there, so that the new iPhone owner wouldn't have to. They certainly all went a little crazy when the doors were finally opened.
