By Mike White     Sep 16, 2013 in World
Burnaby - A young lovestruck Palestinian couple from Syria, who had been kept apart by the war in the country, have been reunited and married in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.
According to the huffingtonpost.com, the couple were reunited in Canada as refugees, after being kept apart.
The couple, Marwa O'da and Wissan Nassar, became engaged after meeting in Syria. Nassar was brought to Canada without his fiancé to become a refugee, however.
Nassar was determined to be with O'da, however, according to news.ca.msn.com. He convinced the couple that sponsored his application to do the same for her, and she arrived in Vancouver this week.
Wissan Nassar and Marwa O'da were married almost immediately, according to cbc.ca/news. O'da will become a nurse and will study English.
