Chicago - A 33-year-old Chicago man reported that he was raped and robbed at gun point in the backseat of a car after accepting a ride from a woman and her female companion.
The car driver, 25-year-old Cierra Ross, was arrested Tuesday and charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault and armed robbery for the attack, NBC Chicago reported.
According to Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney Amanda Pillsbury, the man had been walking on the near North Side of Chicago about 5 a.m. on July 26 when Cierra Ross allegedly pulled up to him and offered to give him a ride, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
He accepted and hopped into the passenger's side of the car. As Ross drove, she pulled out a black revolver, pointed it at the man and "demanded [he] get into the backseat of the car and have sex with [her] friend," Pillsbury said in court Thursday, according to DNA info news.
The friend of the driver ordered the man to take off his clothes. He said he took off everything from the waist down, Pillsbury said.
The women are also accused of stealing $200 from the man, his credit cards and iPhone.
The victim escaped when he noticed a nearby cab’s headlights, Pillsbury said.
With nothing on his body but a shirt, he ran out the car and into the cab. The cab driver let him use his phone to take a picture of the license plate which he mailed to himself. He also drove the man home, the Chicago Sun-Times stated.
The victim identified Ross from a line up.
Ross, a mother of two who works at a local Denny’s restaurant, has misdemeanor prostitution charges on her record. She was held in lieu of $75,000 bail.
The second woman has not been identified, DNA info said.
