NFL Scores: Chargers win shootout with Eagles 33-30

Philadelphia - San Diego came into Sundays game against Philadelphia coming off a heartbreaking loss on Monday night to Houston, but the Chargers rebounded with a thrilling 33-30 victory on the road.
San Diego quarterback Phillip Rivers drove his team down the field and kicker Nick Novak booted a 46 yard field goal with just :07 remaining in the game to earn the win.
Rivers finished the game completing 36 of 47 passes for 419 yards and three touchdowns, all to wide receiver Eddie Royal as the Chargers offense gained 545 yards on the afternoon. Royal had seven catches for 90 yards and tight end Antonio Gates added eight receptions for 124 yards. Running back Ryan Mathews added 73 yards on the ground, but a fumble got the youngster benched for most of the second half.
Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick had another solid performance as the veteran completed 23 of 36 passes for 428 yards and two scores. Running back LeSean McCoy entered the game as the top rusher in the NFL, but the Chargers held the talented back to 53 yards on eleven carries.
The two teams combined for 1,062 yards of total offense and 40 points in the second half to give the fans in Philadelphia quite a show, but the Eagles defense couldn't make a stop in the fourth quarter and the last team with the ball and some time to work with came away with the hard fought win.
