San Diego - American Idol winner David Cook recently announced on his official website that he decided to go "Over the Edge for Brain Cancer."
On November 2, the rock singer-songwriter will be rappelling down the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, which is the tallest building on the San Diego waterfront, in an effort to raise awareness and funds for the San Diego-based brain cancer research organization.
The winner of the seventh season of American Idol added that "every donation" makes a difference and if his fans are up to it, he encourages his fan members to be a part of his team and take on the rappel with him. He will congratulate them at the bottom with a special meet and greet and photo opportunity.
He will also be playing a show at The Griffin in San Diego, California, on that same evening.
For the fans that are unable to make it, they can showcase their support by making a donation and clicking here.
