French company
CitéCréation has previously completed what is likely to be considered the largest mural in the world. CitéCréation, a world leader in wall painting, was established in 1978 and since then, it has created more than 600 monumental frescos in different cities around the world. Its latest work of art will definitely stand out above the rest.
The potential
record-breaking mural is placed in the apartment complex Wohnungsbaugenossenschaft Solidarität in Berlin. Its design features images of trees, birds, and people and a replica of buildings surrounding the area. The nature-inspired concept is said to be based from a nearby zoo in the area. With a size of 236,800 square feet, spanning three buildings, it will surely capture the attention of everyone who passes by the apartment complex area.
CitéCréation has already submitted a
record application to Guinness World Records. The current world record holder for the largest mural in the world is the Pueblo Levee Mural Project in Colorado, with a size of 178,200 square feet. If Guinness approves CitéCréation’s record application, its mural in Wohnungsbaugenossenschaft Solidarität apartments in Berlin will likely take the number one spot.
