A full-length official trailer has been released for the 2014 reboot of "RoboCop" which hits theaters on February 7, 2014.
The first official trailer has been released for the upcoming and highly anticipated reboot of “RoboCop” which hits theaters on February 7, 2014. Joel Kinnamen takes on the role of Detroit PD detective Alex Murphy, aka RoboCop. From what the trailer shows, this reboot is by no means a carbon copy of the original RoboCop film. If you have seen the original movies, you can easily tell the differences between those movies and the upcoming reboot.
RoboCop, the 2014 reboot, takes place in 2028 and focuses on OmniCorp, which is a multinational conglomerate. Walking outside his house one night, Murphy walks to his car only to have it blow up in front of him. With most of his body burned along with losing a couple of limbs and near death, Murphy ends up being the guinea pig of a procedure that turns him into RoboCop. Unlike his original film counterpart, this RoboCop doesn't seem thrilled at first about what has happened to him.
Also part of the cast are: Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Jackie Earle Haley, and Jay Baruchel.
