It is the follow-up to his Top 35 breakthrough hit “If You Want Some.”
Crouse is signed to Show Dog-Universal Music along with Toby Keith, JT Hodges, Josh Thompson and Trace Adkins. He has shared the stage with such artists as Taylor Swift, Darius Rucker and Chuck Wicks.
He co-wrote the new song “Oh Juliet” with Jamie Houston and Marcus Hummon, and it is certainly one of his finest vocal performances to date.
The male narrator in the tune sings about having the courage to walk out of a relationship rather than to break the girl’s heart.
Overall, Joel Crouse’s “Oh Juliet” garners an A rating. His vocals are warm, soulful and heartfelt. He showcases a lot of vulnerability and proves to be a talented vocalist, songwriter and acoustic guitar player.
The acoustic version and video that he released for this tune are quite as remarkable as the actual single. Crouse emerges as the country version of Pat Monahan, the lead singer of Train.
Hopefully, this will be the song that will help propel him to the top, as he is one of Nashville’s most promising rising male artists and has the potential to become the next Hunter Hayes.
