Country fans have been waiting anxiously for Joe Nichols’ new studio album for two years, however the wait is now finally over.
His upcoming studio effort, entitled “Crickets,” features 16 songs and it includes his Top 25 current hit single and summer anthem “Sunny and 75.”
It is expected to be released on October 8 via his record label, Red Bow Records, but his fans can pre-order it online via his official website, by clicking here.
Particularly impressive about this pre-order is that it allows his fans to select from two different packages: the first is an autographed “Crickets” CD with a “Sunny and 75” acoustic bonus track that can be downloaded immediately. The second package included a T-shirt along with an autographed CD and a “Sunny and 75” acoustic bonus track. These two packages are available exclusively on Nichols’ homepage.
Nichols also covers Merle Haggard’s “Footlights,” where he pays homage to his late father, Mike.
Throughout his career, Nichols has earned four Grammy nominations, two of which were in the coveted “Best Male Vocal Performance” category.
According to Benny Brown, the CEO of the BBR Music Group, he remarked in a press statement, “Joe Nichols is one of the format’s most talented vocalists, and it is a great honor for this label to be involved with his career.”
The label head added, “How often does an artist release a CD with 16 songs these days? Music fans who have waited a long time to hear new Joe Nichols music are going to be very happy.”
