Man shoots arrow wrapped with pot at jail

By Owen Weldon     Aug 29, 2013 in Odd News
A man from Bellingham wrapped up a bag of pot around an arrow and then fired it at the Whatcom Jail on Tuesday morning, August 27.
According to Bellingham Herald, David Wayne Jordan, 36, said that he was not aiming at the jail. He said that he was aiming at a squirrel.
Bill Elfo, the Whatcom County Sheriff, said that Jordan had no explanation as to why squirrel hunting required pot to be attached to the arrow.
According to RawStory, the arrow that Jordan shot was aimed at a second-floor exercise room that is used by the inmates.
According to Times Union, Jordan ended up being arrested for investigation of introducing contraband into the facility, as well as resisting arrest and obstructing law enforcement.
Earlier this month Jordan served 20 days in the jail for assault, as well as for resisting arrest.
