On August 23, country music duo Thompson Square appeared on “Fox and Friends” as part of their “All American Summer Concert Series” that was held at the Fox News Channel Plaza in New York City.
The duo is comprised of husband and wife Keith and Shawna Thompson and they are signed to Stoney Creek Records. Throughout their career, they garnered over 25 industry awards and they are the reigning Academy of Country Music (ACM) and Country Music Association (CMA) “Vocal Duo of the Year” recipients.
Thompson Square played a concert for hundreds of fans that gathered in the morning and their set included such songs as “I Got You,” “If I Didn’t Have You,” their breakthrough hit “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not,” as well as their new single “Everything I Shouldn’t Be Thinking About.”
They were surprised with a double platinum plaque that was presented to them by “Fox and Friends” host Ainsley Earhardt, in an effort to celebrate their smash hit single “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not,” which sold well over two million units.
According to Kiefer Thompson, he remarked in a press statement, “This is the song that started it all for us and to pass two million in sales is both an honor and humbling. We’re so happy to be here this morning on Fox and Friends’ concert series and to be able to share this moment live on stage with our fans.”
