The much anticipated new iPhone by Apple has been rumored to feature a
fingerprint scanner, a color customization option, and a low budget model. It seems these may all hold true with a new video surfacing showing what looks to be the long rumored iPhone 5C.
What exactly does the "C" stand for? There has been a long
debate as to whether it stood for "color" or "cheap", and now it seems to stand for both as a video surfaced showing the scratch test revealing a line of color customizable iPhones. Furthermore, a suspected UK price tag for the iPhone 5C shows a almost that it may be almost 400 Euros cheaper.
The scratch test can be seen in the
video attached above illustrating what looks like a dodger blue-colored iPhone. To make matters even more interesting,
Martin Hajek posted an iPhone budget portfolio over on his site showing the various color combinations that may be available on the iPhone 5C.
Although the color variations aren't confirmed,
Martin Hajek provides a pretty solid bet that the colors will consist of green, red, yellow, and blue. On the downside of the scratch resistant colored back side, the iPhone 5C will be a tad thick.
Geeky-Gadgets hints that the iPhone 5C will be released along with the iPhone 5S. It will be priced at £230; the top end model of the iPhone 5C will apparently retail for £320. Furthermore, these prices are for the unlocked versions and the carrier provided ones are expected to be even cheaper.
