On August 28, country singer Cassadee Pope is going to perform on the results show of the NBC reality talent competition “America’s Got Talent.”
She will share the stage with pop group One Direction, who will perform “Best Song Ever” from their new movie “One Direction: This is Us,” during the live telecast.
The show is in its eighth season and its celebrity judges include Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howard Stern. It kicks off its first semi-final performance on August 27, where 12 of the Top 24 are going to perform for America’s vote, and subsequently six of those acts are expected to move into the Top 12.
Cassadee won the third season of “The Voice” and she is signed to Republic Nashville. Thanks to her success on “The Voice” she dominated the top stop on the iTunes all-genre chart with three of her performances and her breakthrough single “Wasting All These Tears” reached the No. 1 spot on the iTunes country singles chart. It is a track off her debut studio album “Frame By Frame” which be will out on October 8.
